Long hot days under clear blue skies, warm balmy moonlight filled nights, unbelievable red sunsets as the sun dips below one of the offshore islands, magnificent dawns. This is Turkey the land of beauty, the land of romance, the land of Aphrodite the goddess of love.

The history and archaeology of Turkey is littered with references and monuments to Aphrodite and perhaps the best known of these is the ancient city of Aphrodisias, which was built to honour the goddess some 5,000 years ago and whose ruins are located about 150km from Kusadasi. Little wonder then that Turkey has become so popular as a wedding venue for couples looking for a special place to mark the most important day of their lives together.		  

 
Peninsula Wedding Services

Peninsula is the handling agent in Turkey for Wings a Broad Holidays and is a sister company of the Pine Club Hotel Group which owns Melisa Apartments and Golden Day Wings Hotel.
All three of which are being sold exclusively, by Wings A Broad for 2011.

Peninsula also act as wedding coordinators here for Wings A Broad. They can organize all the administrative and legal aspects of civil marriages of foreigners in Turkey as well as wedding receptions in our own hotels.

Legal and Administrative Formalities & Civil Wedding

Peninsula can assist couples who wish to arrange a civil wedding in Turkey including arranging medicals and blood tests, obtaining necessary permissions from Turkish authorities, arranging services of official registrar, translation of documents, notary services etc. Couples will themselves need to make the necessary applications to the Department of Foreign Affairs in Dublin
and obtain the necessary approvals for the issue of letters of freedom by the Irish Embassy in Ankara and Peninsula will be able to arrange for the collection of these documents on their
behalf [non Irish nationals will need to consult their own government or diplomatic authorities about the applicable procedures].

For 2011 Peninsula  have set a fixed fee of €1,500 per wedding for these services including the registrar’s fee and expenses, the cost of the necessary medical and blood tests, necessary translation of documents, collection of documents from Ankara, attendance of an official translator at the actual wedding ceremony and any necessary ancillary services.

Pine Club Hotel Wedding Packages

The following prices are valid for weddings in any of our 3 hotels booked after 1st May 2011. For weddings in 2011 please request price confirmation at time of enquiry.
Fixed charge:
There is a fixed charge of €700 to cover the cost of restaurant decoration, table decoration including flowers, gold and white chair covers, live music [up to midnight] and preparation of champagne reception venue, if required.
Reception Dinner
For our standard type menu the charge is €40 per adult and €25 per child up to 11 years old.

    Please note however we can cater for almost any menu requirement the couple may require and any cost variation will be discussed and agreed in advance.
    		 

    Wedding Cake
    A complimentary 3 tier wedding cake, appropriate to the number of guests attending is provided by the hotel.

    Champagne Reception
    The champagne reception, if required, is usually arranged in a separate area from the main reception and the necessary preparation and decoration is included in the fixed charge. We just charge for the actual number of bottles of champagne actually ordered or used and allow a discount of 20% from our normal wine list prices.

    The bride and groom will be asked in advance to choose the actual champagne brand from the selection available which range from very reasonable priced Turkish champagnes to very expensive imported champagnes.

    Photography
    There is a professional photography company which operates inside our hotels and provides a full photography and video service for all our weddings.
    Their current charges are as follows subject to a minimum charge of €450 excluding video.
    Video recording come in 3, 6 or 9 hours and is supplied on DVD

    Photos
    Photos come 13cm x 18cm, 15cm x 21cm, 20cm x 30cm or 30cm x 40cm.
    Upon purchase of photos of any size clients will also receive a Data CD with the pictures you have chosen

    Florist
    Here in Turkey floral arrangements, bouquets etc can be arranged at short notice and we generally advise our couples to wait until they are in Kusadasi to make their selection in conjunction with one of our recommended florists. It is not possible to give any accurate information on cost as the range and choice varies so much. However purely as a budgetary indicator we estimate the average spend of our most recent couples would have been in the region of €1000

    Hair Dressing & Make-Up
    We have professional hairdressers and health and beauty centres within each of our hotels. For special occasions such as weddings they can draft in extra personnel from other hotels and so can cater for fairly large numbers. While it is not practicable here to give full price lists for all their services the following current prices may give an indication of the general range:
